Eric Hudson is the Director of Teaching and Learning at Global Online Academy. He leads GOA’s student program, a global consortium of 70 independent schools that offers innovative, relationships-based online courses to member school students, courses designed and taught by member school teachers. Eric speaks and writes about the intersection of pedagogy, technology, and innovation. He has presented at the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Conference, the Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS) Leadership Conference, the Independent School Experiential Educators Network (ISEEN), and many school-based workshops. Before arriving at GOA, Eric taught middle and upper school English at Kingswood Oxford School and Buckingham Browne and Nichols School, where his own professional learning focused on using technology to reimagine discussion, student voice, and assessment.
