To make the most of the Internet, kids need to be prepared to make safe, smart decisions. Be Internet Awesome teaches kids the fundamentals of digital safety and citizenship so they can explore the online world with confidence. In this session, Connor Regan (Program Lead) will share how and why the program was created, as well as an overview of its various resources. You'll also be able to get your game on with a hands-on product demo and Q&A session.

Connor serves as Program Lead on Be Internet Awesome, a new program from Google that aims to help kids be safe, confident explorers of the online world. He is passionate about technology and educational equity, and is a strong supporter of America's public schools. Outside his role at Google, he serves on the board of Best Buddies California, an organization dedicated to building opportunity for friendship, employment and inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
